By Bianca Emmell-Tierney, Emile Francoeur and Chloé Leblanc
In this webinar, first-year teachers Bianca Emmell-Tierney and Emilie Francoeur share their learning from a final-year research project from a Bishop's University course and how the research process fostered their self-efficacy in integrating research into their current teaching practice. Next, Chloé Leblanc, a Master’s student at Université Laval, shares her research in collaboration with her research partner and pre-service teacher, Amy Lavoie, regarding motivation of ESL learners in prework training programs. All three presenters elaborate on how research has positively influenced their teacher identity and professional practice.
