In this webinar, Dr. Antoinette Gagné, Professor Emerita from OISE/University of Toronto, introduced participants to Me Mapping as an effective pedagogical approach for nurturing positive multilingual learner identities and supporting language learning. She described how Me Mapping invites students to create multimodal artifacts that reflect their linguistic backgrounds, key life stages, and multiple identities, etc. Dr. Gagné  also engaged the participants in critical self‑reflection on the role identity plays in language learning and highlighted how Me Mapping can serve as a catalyst for practitioner research, offering accessible tools to explore the impact of identity‑affirming pedagogy with their own students.
