In this webinar, Heidi talked about the importance for children (and adults the same) to reconnect with the natural world. Heidi also shared how children’s literature can be a key to opening that door and through a variety of texts for and by children, issues such as environmental awareness, eco-citizenship and global warming can be addressed. Hands-on ideas on how to actively use these texts were also discussed.
